The candidate will preferably have a PhD, or the minimum of a Master’s degree with several years of relevant experience in executive education from industry and/or higher education. The candidate will have a proven track record at the executive level in dealing with matters of corporate learning and education, and have shown a strong ability for leading teams that thrive on integrative thinking and designs. An experience with digital and other advanced learning technologies is an important asset.

The role is an exciting opportunity for a person looking to grow executive and continuing education programs within a university with a strong brand, and for a corporate learner marketplace that is
expanding. Reporting to the Dean of OSB, and as part of the executive team, the Associate Dean will have direct responsibility for the EMBA and for overseeing all staff operations and coordination related to business development, program design and program delivery for non-degree customized open enrollment executive/continuing education programs among other corporate outreach initiatives so as to meet revenue, growth, and profit targets. He/She will also collaborate closely with OSB faculty and staff to ensure high quality academic standards continue to be maintained and that, in collaboration  with the Office of Continuous Improvement, necessary operational analytics are collected and used for improvement and strategic benefit. The Associate Dean will ensure that all strategies employed by the unit are aligned and contribute to OSB’s vision and mission.
