The Phlebotomy - Phase II has three openings for the position of
Phlebotomist-Reception in grade 6 starting at a salary of LBP
904,677.- per month. Since this provides an opportunity for PROMOTION from

Basic Functions
Draw blood specimens from people of all
ages (adults, children and neonates) by venipuncture and skin puncture as needed
for medical tests and blood donations in a prompt, accurate and reliable manner
according to established hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Advise patients on the proper procedure for other body fluid specimens as
related to their work area. Adhere strictly to safety and infection control
procedures while performing their technical duties. Perform clerical duties such
as test requests and results entry as well as sorting and sending reports.

Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work on shift basis duty and during weekends and holidays.
- Strong command of Arabic and English (IET score >/= 450). French is an asset.
- BACC II Degree or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
- One year experience in basic laboratory operations, nursing or related science preferably in the blood collection specialty.
- Basic knowledge and ability to interact with laboratory information system (LIS) and/or hospital information system (HIS) computer functions as it relates to phlebotomy duties.
