Job Opportunity in Lebanon
The Specialty Clinics Surgery has three openings for the position
of Outpatient Services Practical Nurse in grade 5 starting at a salary
of LBP 847,179.- per month. Since this provides an opportunity for PROMOTION

Basic Functions
Provide direct and indirect patient care
services that meet psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care. Use
appropriate age specific nursing care policies and procedures. Maintain
regulatory institution requirements, nursing and hospital policies, procedures
and standards. Communicate with the Outpatient Services Registered Nurse on
clinical conditions of patients and non-clinical unit related issues.
Demonstrate good skills in time management, crisis interventions, problem
solving, decision-making, delegation, and priority setting. Abide by the Joint
Commission International Accreditation (JCI) requirements, including but not
limited to International Patients Safety Goals, national and international
standards.
Support the mission and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and the Nursing Services Department.

Minimum Requirements
- Practical Nurse Diploma or BT Nursing. TS II Degree is preferred.
- On-the-job training
- License to Practice as a Practical Nurse is required
- Strong command of Arabic and English (EET >/= 500). French is an asset.
- Basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office.
- Work Schedule: Regular weekdays
