Basic Functions
Provide direct and indirect age-specific
patient care services for assigned patients in general nursing units per
scheduled shifts within framework of Patient Centered Care (PCC). Perform
nursing duties that meet the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and general needs
of the patient and family, while maintaining institution requirements, nursing
and hospital policies, procedures and standards. Communicates with team members
about changes in patient's clinical condition. Abide by the Joint Commission
International (JCI) requirements, including but not limited to International
Patient Safety Goals, national and international standards.
Support the mission and vision of the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC) and of the Nursing Services Department.

Minimum Requirements
- Practical Nurse Diploma or BT in Nursing.
- No experience required.
- Strong command of Arabic and English (EET >/= 500). French is an asset
- Basic knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office.
