The Patient Access Office has openings for a Part Time
Staff of Patient Access Officer position for a 2 months
period starting Mid of September, 2018 in Grade 10 starting at a salary of
LBP 1,298,413.- per
month.
Basic Functions
Coordinate with physicians, nursing, other
hospital staff members and third party payers to ensure patient admission.
Interview patient/ representative to obtain and validate personal and financial
data to determine eligibility for admission. Assign accommodations based on
patient’s condition, nature of illness, patient’s preference and availability of
rooms. Carry out financial counseling with patients to maximize collections upon
admission.

Minimum Requirements
- Work Schedule: Shift rotation basis
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in a health care setting.
- Strong Command of Arabic and English (IET score >/= 500). French is an asset.
- Familiarity with commonly used Microsoft applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint and database software packages. Ability to type English at 40 w.p.m.
