Graphic Designer can't please everyone!

We as designers must know this. And every client must understand this as well!

From experience. From logic. By doing the math. It can't be done. Okay, fine.

We design upon rules, educations, theories, experiences that we earned, and developed during time.
If the client didn't like what we did that dose not mean that his target audience wont. This is why there is rules for design. We can not please everyone but we assure that the message will reach all!

Poster Design for mountain biking event in Lebanon

As a case study, that poster was accepted by the client from the first sketch. The message is clear, designed well on a grid, and that's all!

So, if you didn't please the client, what are you doing about it?

get mad? re-do it for free? refund?

Well nothing!
if the client determine to change the design, well let it be!
of course not for free! nor refund nor excuses nor nothing!

Go into the process again, design - checking -accepting - paying and that is it!

Remember the following, you are not an artist drawing a portrait in order to like and not like! you are a designer building a message through visuals, the main idea is to transmit the message. if the message is clear than you accomplish your mission and that is it!

Job is done !
