Description:
The
Operation Coordinator will be responsible for managing SHiFT's Center,
therefore you must be able to guide a team and provide team support,
motivation and conflict management when necessary. You will be expected
to ensure that all operation policies are met while coordinating with
the other necessary departments and projects. The basic functions of the
position include: managing all operations, coordination with other
departments, watching over operation and ensuring that center goals are
being met on schedule and team members are successfully completing their
tasks accordingly, preparing center reports, thinking of cost effective
and creative ways to reach center full potential within the provided
budget, ensuring each department is provided with the necessary funds,
being able to coordinate with other departments for approvals, issues
and funds. This position has growth potential within the organization.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Prepare and control operational budgets.
- Utilize financial data to improve efficiency. Control inventory. Recommend effective strategies for the financial well-being of the organization.
- Review financial statements.
- Improve processes and policies in support of the organization policies.
- Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output.
- Monitor adherence to rules, regulations and procedures.
- Working with the applying HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in recruitment and placement of required staff; establishment of organizational structure; delegation of tasks and accountabilities.
- Establish work schedules.
- Supervise staff. Monitor and evaluate performance of the staff in collaboration with the Program’s Leads.
- Monitor and manage and improve the efficiency of support services such as IT, HR, Accountants and Finance. Facilitate coordination and communication between support functions.
- Strategic Input - Liaison with Lead team. Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity. Implement and manage operational plans.
- Develop corrective measures and strategies to respond to obstacles, changes and risks.
- Work closely with Programs’ Leads by suggesting new programs, new staff hire, and report arising opportunities and obstacles.
