The Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the American University of Beirut (AUB) is seeking three faculty candidates to join our expanding department and faculty core. One faculty position is open for a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Surgical oncologist. Strong preference will be given to candidates with American Board specialty certification and microvascular surgery training. In addition, experience in robotic surgery and proficiency in ultrasonography of the head and neck are desired.​

Another faculty position is open for a Neurotologist with American Board specialty and subspecialty certifications. Both, the Head and Neck and the Otologist/Neurotologist faculty, would divide clinical responsibilities between our new state-of-the-art Academic and Clinical Center (ACC) at the main campus as well as affiliated and satellite locations. We expect the successful candidate to join and expand an active clinical practice, to be an active educator and to develop a robust research program.

The candidate for the third faculty position is a scientist (PhD) or a physician-scientist (MD or MD/PhD) with ability to conduct independent research and demonstrated funding and research productivity. This is a tenure eligible position. Preference is given for candidates with research expertise in the areas of airway inflammation and cancer research. Other areas of investigation will also be considered such as molecular biology, genetics, microbiology and virology, cellular biology, human genetics and genomics, and bioengineering techniques.
