When you jump from one career to another, are your skills transferable?

Most people make the assumption that when I switched from a career in diagnostic medical imaging to business development it left me with few transferable skills. It’s true, I probably won’t be asked for a trauma series or a zitters anytime soon but that doesn’t mean I can’t apply many other skills to my new role. Such as: 1️⃣CPR!!! Vitally important. 2️⃣Putting people at ease 3️⃣Reflection Mmm so what is reflection? Nope not looking in the mirror. ✅Reflection is a tool that is commonly used in clinical practice ✅It is for processing thoughts after a critical incident so that we learn from our experiences ✅ Reflection is supported by the use of reflective models that are structured processes to guide you through the act of reflection. There are many models, such as my personal favourite, Gibb’s 1988 model below. So, why is reflection so important to you in business❓ Because it gives you a clear framework of how to learn from your mistakes 🙌🏼 Which methods do you currently utilise in your business to ensure you learn from errors?
